The 2023 Taipei International Book Exhibition was held from February 1 to 5, 2023, at the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1. Academia Sinica joined forces with 10 domestic publishers and over 30 experts from various fields to present 16 engaging events, including two special forums and 14 book talks and popular science lectures. One highlight was the February 2 forum titled "Discussing Yu Ying-Shih's World of Thought," featuring Vice President Chin-Shing Huang, Academician Fan-Sen Wang, NTU History Department Chair Professor Jo-Shui Chen, Lianjing Publishing House Publisher Tsai-Chueh Lin, Yunchen Culture Publisher Chih-Feng Liao, and Yayan Culture Publisher Che-Ya Yen. They explored the contemporary significance of Yu Ying-Shih's works from various perspectives. In addition to the special forum, from February 1 to 5, there were various book discussions on topics such as modern urban culture, current affairs, Taiwan history, ethnology, and enlightenment, as well as popular science talks covering subjects in mathematics, life sciences, and the humanities.
