Acting President Chu Chia-Hua dispatched Mr. Chung-Yao Chao to observe the atomic bomb research conducted by the United States at Bikini Atoll. Chung-Yao Chao later earned the title "Father of Atomic Energy in China" for leading the testing of China's first atomic bomb and hydrogen bomb.
