On March 21, 1954, Mr. Hu Shih (second from the right) visited the warehouse construction site of the Institute of History and Philology. This was the first comstruction project undertaken at the Nankang Campus after Academia Sinica's relocation to Taiwan. Mr. Hu Shih was accompanied by Secretary-General Hung-Ching Chou (middle), Director of the Institute of History and Philology Tso-Pin Tung (second from the left), and Ji Li (first on the right).
