On December 16, 2022, the “Academia Sinica Popular Science Lecture” took place on an offshore island for the first time. Held at the National Kinmen High School, the event attracted about 400 audiences, including students and the general public. Dr. Hwai-Jong Cheng, Distinguished Research Fellow and Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology, delivered a lecture on neuroscience at Kinmen High School. On June 10, 2023, Academia Sinica Popular Science Lectures in Taoyuan was held. Dr. Tzong-Han Tsai, Research Fellow at the Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, delivered a lecture on AI technology at Wu-Ling Senior High School.
