Since October 22, 2019, Academia Sinica has actively participated in the "Healthy Longevity Global Grand Challenge" project initiated by the National Academy of Medicine (NAM), resulting in the selection of 26 awardees. To broaden engagement, Academia Sinica will host information sessions to attract interest from academia and industry, featuring insights from past awardees. Catalyst Awards will reward bold, innovative, potentially transformative ideas to improve the physical, mental, or social well-being for people as they age, and in a measurable and equitable way, spanning various fields such as basic science, medical treatments, technology, and social sciences.
