On September 17, 2023, His Eminence Cardinal Peter Turkson (upper left), President of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, and Professor Joachim Von Braun (bottom right), Chairman of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, visited Academia Sinica for the first time. During their visit, they provided an introduction about the Pontifical Academy of Sciences in Vatican City and discuss the possibilities of scholarly exchange.
