Tsai Yuan-Pei Memorial Hall was Renovated as the Working Office in 1999

Tsai Yuan-Pei Memorial Hall was originally planned to be used as the Scholar Residence. It was built during President Hu Shih's term and was inaugurated in 1960. The photo shows the hall after renovations in 1999, when it was repurposed as the Center for Survey Research and the office of the Tsai Yuan-Pei Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences.
