Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction project of the Research Building (Ⅱ) and the Multifunction Building of Academia Sinica South Campus took place on March 12, 2020, including a soil turning ceremony. Academia Sinica Vice President Mei-Yin Chou (middle in the photo below), Chairman Ming-Che Shih (second from right in the photo below), and Director of the Department of General Affairs Kang-Wei Chang (left in the photo below) represented as the main officiants.
