The 31st anniversary of Academia Sinica on June 9, 1959. The Academia Sinica Staff Recreational Activities Promotion Association held a week-long calligraphy and painting exhibition at the archaeology building of the Institute of History and Philology, displaying calligraphy, paintings, inscriptions, and letters collected by colleagues of Academia Sinica.
