Rear building of the Center for Taiwanese Archaeology is estimated to have been built around 1972 (estimated). In 2008, a reconstruction project was initiated to improve the safety and environmental quality of the rear building, and it was completed and opened in 2012. The photo shows the rear building of the center as it appeared in 2022.
