In 1957, the Research Building of the Institute of Modern History (Building A) was completed. Due to insufficient space and the building's aging structure, it was demolished in 1990 and rebuilt. The new building was completed and occupied in 1992. The photo shows the Building A of the Institute of Modern History in 2008.
